We designed the £2.7m ground floor area, entitled: thinkback, at thinktank which opened in September 2001. There are three galleries: Power Up explores the impact of the Steam Revolution on industrial and social history; Making Things explores the machines, manufacturing processes and workforce that made Birmingham internationally famous; and Move It concentrates on the network systems developed to move goods in and out of Birmingham and across the world.
